How Do I Update My Address or W-4 in Paychex?
Keeping your personal and tax information up to date is essential to ensure timely pay, accurate tax withholding, and correct delivery of your W-2.
All updates must be made through your Paychex Flex employee portal.
How to Update Your Address

Go to the Paychex login page:
myapps.paychex.com

Log in with your username and password
-
Navigate to My Profile or Personal Information
-
Select Edit next to your current address
-
Enter your new address and save changes
Your new address will be used for payroll records and your W-2 delivery (if you choose paper mail).
How to Update Your W-4 Tax Information

Log into your Paychex Flex account
-
Click on Pay → Tax Withholding (W-4)
Select Edit to update:

Save and confirm your updates
Your new W-4 will take effect in the next available pay period.
Important Reminders

Changes to your W-4 will not retroactively affect previous paychecks

Your W-2 will reflect the address you had on file as of December 31 of the tax year

Only you, as the employee, may update your personal and tax information
